While we are open all year round, our accommodation is busiest during the main sportives in the area: Alpe d’HuZes, La Marmotte, Les Deux Alpes, and La Vaujany. We also see a lot of cyclists coming to stay during the Criterium du Dauphiné and the Tour De France. Other popular times for cyclists are June and September, when the weather is a little cooler, the roads quieter and the mountains particularly beautiful for cycling.
The Oisans valley is rapidly becoming the mecca for Alpine Cycling. This is not surprising when you consider the sustained switch-back climbs making their way up from the forested valley floor to the high mountain resorts; the extraordinary number of mountain roads weaving their way up the valleys and traversing across mountain sides; and, perhaps best of all, the extraordinary number of mountain cols with their stunning views. All within easy reach of a single location.
