In a fabulous mountain setting, come and reconnect with your body, mind, heart and soul, tuning into the rhythm of nature’s universe for a more meaningful life. There is a rare and precious tranquility in the valley of Lauvitel Lodge. Breathe in the pure, fresh air of the Écrins National Park. Steep mountains, clear lakes, fast flowing rivers and wild forests await you. Caroline will take you to her secret corners and invite you to live a sensory experience with the five elements of nature: the mineral sensation of the earth, the vastness of the air, the fluidity of water, the liveliness of wood, the dynamics of fire.

Morning experiences

The days start with a walk in the magnificent setting of Lauvitel Lodge to meet the different elements of nature, or with meditation and movement in the Stillpoint space to explore the energies of these same elements within yourself.

Depending on the theme of the day, Caroline will then invite you to hike to the lake, cross dense forests, climb granite screes, taste the fresh waters of the rivers and streams, or stroll through quiet meadows, all of which will help you to integrate the morning’s experiences. Each outing is tailored to your fitness level and preferences.

Afternoon freedom

The afternoons are free for you to explore the sumptuous setting of the Vénéon valley and beyond. Some suggested activities:

Let yourself be charmed by the mountain villages each with its own character: Venosc, Saint Christophe, la Bérarde, Besse, La Grave, Briançon and more.
Let yourself be surprised by the museums of the region, all very well presented, each with its own theme: crystals, fauna and flora, alpinism, the Revolution, electricity….
Take a stroll in the alpine garden of Lautaret or in the castle of Vizille and its park
Spend an afternoon in the shade or by the fire carving green wood with a knife (Bois et Sens in Venosc)
Taste your freedom in the beautiful hikes to the Lauvitel Lake, the Muzelle Refuge, the valleys and summits of the Ecrins Park
Taste the more lively adventures like via ferrata (4 to choose from), white water rafting, paragliding.
Take care of yourself on site with an individual session of massage, yoga, fasciatherapy, or Reiki.
Take time to do nothing! Rest, read, share moments together in the gardens, enjoy the softness of the summer evenings.
