To participate in this retreat, you must have some coaching training from a recognised school – anything from first fundamentals to leadership and beyond
Come together with exceptional people in an exquisite environment and be prepared to be surprised by what unfolds.
You already know the impact of coaching. You are already familiar with the wonder of being out in nature. You may have experienced the power of taking coaching outdoors, where it becomes a partnership between coach, client and Nature – or you maybe ready to discover this for the first time. When we do this together, there is a unique combination of depth, laughter and shared humanity – and magic happens!
We long for more moments of connection and renewal. This is your invitation to find them.

Imagine three to four days in the French Alps. Time to slow down, reconnect and explore what’s next for you as a coach and as a human being.
When you join this retreat, you will be doing so for yourself, for your clients, and for the communities you touch through your work. By reconnecting with your own wildness and wisdom, you ripple the changes outwards.
Enough structure to guide you into new experiences.
Enough freedom to make the retreat your own.
Each day invites a balance of stillness, movement, creativity and connection; and gives you space to breathe, reflect and flourish.

A taste of what’s to come:
Mornings begin with shared stillness – simple meditation before breakfast, inviting you home to centre.
Breakfast is self-served and generous: homemade yogurts, organic jams, French breads, cereals, eggs, cheese and juices.
Morning sessions in nature explore the six elements – earth, water, fire, air, wood and sky – through guided practices and reflection. You’ll deepen your relationship with the natural world and notice what it teaches you about your own energy and coaching presence.
Mid-morning in the Stillpoint brings somatic learning through Taiji-inspired movement – simple, powerful practices that reveal patterns in how we interact with others and open new possibilities for presence and flow.
Lunch is a colourful buffet of salads and warm dishes, eaten outdoors when weather allows.
Afternoons are yours – to rest, walk, journal, swim, dream, play games, or connect.
Late afternoons bring a creative group session, integrating the day’s experiences through sculpture, creativity or giving back to the land – tangible ways of weaving your learning with the environment.
Dinner is served at two large convivial tables with three courses of vegetarian foods using fresh ingredients selected from local providers. Our excellent chef creates delicious food that is enjoyable both to the palate and to the eye. (Wines are available for those who wish to purchase them.)
Evenings are for connection – storytelling and conversation around the fire pit or in candlelight.

A shared transfer will be arranged from Grenoble to Lauvitel Lodge on Tuesday 4th May and the return transfer to Grenoble on Saturday 8th or Sunday 9th May (more travel details available soon) . My introduction to coaching came in 2000, when I took the Co-Active Training Institute’s (CTI) Fundamentals course.  I then joined the CTI faculty in 2008, and I gained the ICF’s MCC credential in April 2026, so I have been coaching and developing myself as a coach for over a third of my life!  I love being outdoors, and as a coach, trainer, and supervisor of coaches I know that whenever coaching goes into the outdoors magic both the client and the coach are expanded. The trees and the mountains have wisdom to offer us, if only we slow down enough to receive.  Building community and making connections amongst coaches is also incredibly rewarding, and I am looking forward to bringing all of this together, and to welcoming you on this retreat.  It is very exciting to know that we are extending the invitation to this retreat to all coaches, wherever you have trained.

I am a lover of mountains and passionate about community, knowing that magic happens when we come together in extraordinary places. I was first introduced to Co-Active Coaching twenty years ago, when searching for a way to bring more active engagement to a doctorate in social psychology and the meditative practices of T’ai Chi Chuan and Reiki. This evolved into owning and transforming a rustic mountain gite into Lauvitel Lodge. A journey full of discovery, growth and imagination (adding in large doses of patience, courage, determination and love) it has become a place that lets us listen, explore, reveal and reach beyond what we thought was possible.

The retreat is located in the hamlet of La Danchere at the end of the road, at 1000m altitude (well away from the ski resort).
On arriving at Chalet Ecrins, across the meadow from Lauvitel Lodge, you will immediately be struck by the light openness of the house and the tranquil beauty of the gardens. Simply being here is already enough to transport you to another state of being.
In this small corner of paradise, you can hear the birds sing, rest in the sounds of flowing streams, breathe the fresh, clean air, taste the purity of the water, walk barefoot on the earth, and wonder at the stars in the night sky.
