La Danchère is approx 12 km (15 min) from Bourg d’Oisans and 65 km (1hr) from Grenoble.

1. From the A480 motorway, take exit 8 (Briancon, Vizille stations de l’Oisans).
2. Follow the N85 to Vizille, then continue on the D1091 towards Briançon and Bourg d’Oisans.
3. Just before Bourg d'Oisans, turn left at the roundabout to stay on the D1091 and follow signs to Briançon.
4. Approx 4 km past Bourg d’Oisans, just after Le Clapier, turn right onto the D530 (Venosc, St Christophe en Oisans, La Bérarde).
5. Just after Les Ougiers, take a right turn across the bridge onto the D214c (signs to La Danchère and Lac Le Lauvitel).
6. On arrival in La Danchère, continue on past the visitor car park to Lauvitel Lodge. Due to limited parking, we ask guests to please park in the main visitor car park, especially in Summer (2 min walk from the Lodge).

Take the train to Grenoble, then take the bus to Bourg d'Oisans.

Bus T75 (Grenoble-Bourg d'Oisans)

• Bus station is located next to the Grenoble railway station.
• Take Bus T75 to Bourg d'Oisans "Office de Tourisme" or "Agence Cars Region VFD" (bus station, final stop)
• Services are every 1-2 hours during the week (less frequent at weekends)
• Journey time: Approx. 1h20

Free Shuttle Bus from Bourg d'Oisans (Summer season)

• Operates 7 days a week from early June to early September
• Services every 2 hours each way between Vaujany-Musée Hydrélec and Venosc, via Bourg d'Oisans  
• Take the bus from Bourg d’Oisans "Agence Cars Region VFD" (bus station) or "Office de Tourisme" to "Les Ougiers" (journey time: 15 minutes), from where we can pick you up and bring you to the Lodge by car (pickup also possible from Bourg d'Oisans, by prior arrangement only).
